Chris Stokes is a highly respected, innovative and effective railway strategist and writer with over 40 years’ experience in the industry. During his career in British Rail, Chris was Resources and Planning Director for InterCity, then Deputy Director at Network SouthEast.
After serving as Deputy Franchising Director during the initial privatisation process, Chris was then an Executive Director at the Strategic Rail Authority responsible for the future development of the network. Chris has undertaken a wide range of senior level consultancy roles during the past twenty years and is currently Chief Executive of Heathrow Southern Railway Limited.
